Manus Academy is a private 4-12th grade school
and tutoring, testing and consulting service accredited
by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
(SACS) and the AdvancED. We are dedicated to working
with students with special academic needs, such
as those with learning disabilities, attention
deficit disorder and those who have fallen behind
in school for other reasons.
Our main areas of service are:
We believe all students can develop to their fullest
potential given the right environment, education
and training. Therefore, we have worked rigorously
over the past several decades to develop an effective
service that brings success to every student.
We guarantee the delivery of our services to you
by:
- tailoring each student’s instructional
program and learning environment to best suit
his or her current educational needs
- continuously monitoring and updating these
programs and tracking student progress
- conferring regularly with parents and other
people involved in the student's educational
development
The founder of Manus Academy, Rosanne Manus,
received her master’s degree in special education
at Columbia University in 1979 and has been
working in the field of special education since
then. She has developed, tested and published
training programs and curriculums for almost
every subject and skill from preschool through
grade twelve. In addition, she has developed
a proprietary business operations model and
staff training program that ensures the consistent
delivery of high quality services.
